2. Licensed Medical Care & Physician Supervision

Many of the services offered by Zenova Med Spa — including neurotoxin injections (such as Botox®), dermal fillers, and laser and energy-based treatments — are considered the practice of medicine under Illinois law. These procedures are performed only by, or under the delegation and supervision of, a licensed physician, in accordance with the Illinois Medical Practice Act and guidance issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). All medical services are provided under the supervision of Pooja Patel, D.O., Medical Director, who oversees clinical protocols, delegation, and patient safety. Treatments are delivered by physicians, advanced practice registered nurses, physician assistants, registered nurses, or other appropriately trained and supervised personnel acting within the scope of their license and training. Esthetician and skincare services that are non-medical in nature are provided by licensed estheticians.

3. Consultation, Good-Faith Examination & Eligibility

A consultation and a good-faith medical evaluation are required before you may receive medical aesthetic treatments, in order to establish a provider–patient relationship and determine your eligibility. Not all individuals will qualify for every service. Our providers will review your medical history, medications, and treatment goals before making personalized recommendations, and may decline to provide a treatment if it is not appropriate for you.

4. Individual Results May Vary — No Guarantee of Outcomes

All aesthetic and wellness treatments produce results that vary from person to person, depending on individual factors such as age, medical history, lifestyle, skin type, and adherence to pre- and post-treatment care. Zenova Med Spa makes no guarantee, promise, or assurance regarding any particular result, and no representation on this website or in our marketing should be understood as a guarantee of outcome.

5. No Medical Diagnosis, Cure, or Prevention of Disease

8. Biometric Information (Illinois BIPA)

To the extent Zenova Med Spa collects, captures, or stores any “biometric identifier” or “biometric information” as defined by the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) – for example, a facial geometry scan or fingerprint — we will first provide the written notice required by BIPA and obtain your separate, signed written consent, and we will store, use, and destroy such data in accordance with our publicly available biometric data retention and destruction policy. Standard clinical photographs used for treatment planning or marketing are not used to create a biometric identifier without your consent.

9. Text Message (SMS) Communications

Zenova Med Spa sends appointment and marketing text messages only to individuals who have provided prior express written consent, as required by the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and Illinois law. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.
